Welcome to Spring English (or French)
with and
for
Canadian and International Students!
May 25 - June 25, 2010
Spring English (or French) with Canadians is a five-week
program offered in May and June. This unique program
offers
international students a chance to learn about Canada
while studying English or French alongside English-
or French-speaking Canadians. It offers Canadians the
opportunity to study
and speak
English (or French) with students from around the world.

The program includes morning classes and afternoon
workshops designed to improve your listening and speaking
ability and to develop your intercultural communication
skills. It also includes a variety of interesting optional
recreational activities.
This program is part of the Canadian government-sponsored
EXPLORE Program, the Summer Language Bursary Program
(SLBP/PBEL). Canadian students and bursary students
should refer to their respective Web pages.
International students with an intermediate to advanced
level of English (or French) will find this program
extremely appealing as it is a chance to share classes
and activities
with a dynamic group
of French- and English-speaking university students
coming from all parts of Canada in addition to students
from around the world.
We are eager to welcome you to our spectacular campus
and city in our Super Natural British Columbia!
